My Portfolio
Welcome to my portfolio. Here you’ll find a selection of my work. Explore my projects to learn more about what I do.
Hummingbird
Hummingbirds are the smallest migrating bird. They are so fast and interesting to observe. They are brave for such tiny creatures. Did you know that they are unable to smell? They are also the only bird that can fly backwards. A flock of hummingbirds are called a bouquet which seems so fitting since they are so beautiful! I loved drawing this pretty little bird.
Raccoon "Rascal"
Raccoons are such cute and curious animals! We have a lot of them where I live. I love looking outside at night and seeing bunches of glowing eyes in the trees of our back yard. One little rascal came right onto our deck and helped himself to a pot of soup that my mom had cooling outside. He took the lid off the pot with one hand and scooped meatballs with the other. The soup was all his after that!
Horse "Ringo"
I absolutely love this piece of artwork. It brings me so much joy and happiness just looking at it. I was inspired to draw this piece of art while visiting a ranch in Ashcroft, BC called “Sundance Guest Ranch”. The horse I was riding was named Ringo. He was incredibly sweet with a streak of spunk and was a perfect horse in my eyes. Unfortunately, Ringo was no longer there when we arrived our on last visit. We found out that he had passed, but I was so happy to draw him and share this beautiful piece with you!
Squirrel "Dennis"
This is Dennis aka. Dennis the Menace. In the summers my family and I love to visit the Sunshine coast. We stay with family on a small island called Hummingbird Island. Not many animals survive living in this little place, but there was one that did. A squirrel. We are not sure exactly how he managed to get there but I am sure he had a story to tell. Dennis would occasionally get into the cabin. He would jump through our pots and pans, take bites of our apples, and nest in our shed. Let's just say he was a bit of a nut job (pun intended). Dennis had become part of the island experience. Dennis passed away from natural causes this past winter, but his memory now lives on through this piece of art.
Red fox "Sly"
This is Sly the red fox. There is something just so intriguing about a fox that really catches my attention. The red fox is one of my favourite animals, I love their distinct coat, and the texture of the fur. I adore everything about these beautiful creatures from their pointy little ears to their big bushy tail! I am so happy to have the privilege to share this special piece with you.
Frenchie "Fiji"
This is Fiji. An adorable French bulldog that I could not resist but to draw. Not only is she extremely cute, but she belongs to a family that is very dear to my heart. This is one of my favorite pieces to date and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Rabbit
I have always had a huge love for animals and bunnies especially have always held a special place in my heart. I was trying to convince my parents that we should get a rabbit and drawing this bunny became part of my vision for how I was going to convince them. Needless to say, I now have an adorable bunny named Elvis Parsley who is sure to be the subject for another bunny drawing in the near future.
